Fishermen gathering the morning catch in their nets on the Vizhinjam coast

Our story · Vizhinjam

Local seafood,
for local people.

We started Hooked Harbor with one simple idea: seafood from our coast should be easier for the people who live here to enjoy, at a fair price.

The catch comes ashore · Vizhinjam

This is not a story about changing the world. It is about making one part of home work a little better.

The idea was always simple.

We live beside a working coast. Fish comes ashore here every day, but good local seafood can still feel too far away from the families living around it.

I started Hooked Harbor to shorten that distance. We take what is available locally, cook it without fuss, and serve it back to our own community at a price that makes sense.

We will keep learning, keep the food honest and keep our attention on the people who bring in the catch and the people we feed.

What we do

Keep the route short.

No grand mission. Just a more direct way for local seafood to reach local tables.

  1. 01

    Buy close.

We begin with seafood available from the coast around us, not a menu that ignores the day's catch.

  2. 02

    Cook simply.

Familiar flavours, sensible portions and food that lets fresh seafood speak for itself.

  3. 03

    Price fairly.

A price that respects the work behind the catch and remains reasonable for the people we serve.

Our promise

What does a fair price mean?

It is not about making seafood cheap at any cost. A fair price has to work for both ends of the table.

  • Respect the people who bring in the catch.
  • Remove unnecessary steps and markups.
  • Keep portions and prices clear.
  • Treat local seafood as everyday food, not a luxury story.

That is the whole story

Good seafood from here.
Served here.
Priced for here.

If that sounds simple, it is meant to. Come see what is cooking today.
