Why we started

Local seafood should be for local people.

That is the whole idea behind Hooked Harbor.

We want to make seafood from the Vizhinjam coast easier for the people living here to buy, cook and enjoy—at a price that is fair to the people who catch it and the people who eat it.

Fish comes ashore here every day, but good local seafood can still feel too far from the families living around it. We started this kitchen to shorten that distance—and to keep the route honest from shore to plate.
